Pathachitra hand-painted sarees are exclusive wearable art.
The word Pathachitra is derived from Sanskrit. Literally translating to ‘Painting on Cloth’
This art form is from Odisha and the usual themes depicts Ramayana, Krishna Leela and Lord Jaganath.
We have chosen a village theme for our exclusive collection.
The painting is done on hand-woven Eri Silk.
Eri silk is also known as ‘Fabric of Peace.’ The name is derived from the fact that the moth is allowed to leave the cocoon naturally before harvest. This process is native to the culture of Assam.
If you have any other theme in mind or want to mix and match, talk to us. We will make it happen.
