Kasuti is a traditional form of hand embroidery originating from the state of Karnataka, India. It’s known for its intricate and dense stitches, which create geometric and pictorial patterns often depicting themes from nature, such as elephants, peacocks, and lotuses. The embroidery is reversible, with the front and back of the fabric appearing identical, showcasing the exceptional skill of the artisan.
Tussar silk, also known as wild silk or Kosa silk, has a slightly coarse and grainy feel, which makes it rustic and natural. The fabric has a golden sheen, giving it an elegant look.
The saree is breathable and lightweight, which makes it suitable for work and party wear.
The saree is silk mark certified and comes with a blouse piece.
